In his End Of The Day Report, last Thursday, Gary Bauer said this:

What a disgusting spectacle. For 96 minutes yesterday, Libya’s Muammar Qadhafi delivered an insane tirade to the U.N. General Assembly, blaming Israel for the assassination of John F. Kennedy and the U.S. military for producing flu viruses to help drug companies get rich. Qadhafi also called Obama “my son” and expressed his hope that Obama would be president forever. National Review is reporting that the Obama Administration has notified Congress that the State Department intends to contribute $400,000 of your tax money to foundations run by Qadhafi’s two children.

Qadhafi was scheduled to speak for 15 minutes, but no one at the U.N. had the courage to end the madness and escort him from the podium. That would have been undiplomatic. And yet this is the very body that President Obama thinks can be trusted to restrain despots on the battlefield and prevent Holocaust-denying dictators from obtaining nuclear weapons.

After “Muammar the Mad” left the stage, along came the Iranian Shiite fanatic Mahmoud Ahamdinejad, who accused Israel of trying to dominate the world politically and economically. He accused Israel of “crimes” against defenseless Palestinian women and children, when of course it is radical Palestinians who strap explosives on to their children and use them as human bombs. Ahmadinejad continues his march toward nuclear weapons. The day he obtains them, Israel, America and any other nation that believes in the Judeo/Christian values of Western Civilization will be in danger. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke today and called out the U.N. cowards. Click here to see a brief portion of his remarks.

And what about President Obama? He mentioned Iran and North Korea a couple of times, but mentioned Israel more than a dozen. He called Israeli homes in established Israeli cities “illegitimate.” And he pointedly said the Israeli “occupation that began in 1967” must end. On both points, he sadly parrots the views of Qadhafi and Ahmadinejad. No wonder that for the first time since its founding in 1947, Israelis see a U.S. president as overtly hostile to their security.

One Jerusalem reports:

One would expect the President of the United States to stand firm against America’s enemies and support its allies.

Today however, President Obama used the forum of the United Nations to abandon Israel and embrace the unfounded demands of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

President Obama became the first US President to refer to the territories that Israel won in the (defensive) Six Day War as, “Occupied Territory.” This implies that Israel must retreat from its own land, return to indefensible ’67 borders, divide Jerusalem, and capitulate to Palestinian forces bent on destroying Israel.

A few weeks ago, One Jerusalem sent out a Red Alert warning that Obama was going to ambush Israel at the United Nations. He did it, today.

Israel faces a real challenge with Obama. On the one hand, President Obama continually pressures Israel to give up its secure borders. On the other hand, Obama allows for existential threats to Israel, by refusing to engage the US in actively stopping Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

One Jerusalem has been — and will continue to be — on the front lines, in defense of Jerusalem and the Jewish State of Israel. When Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu arrived in New York this week, we were invited to meet and strategize with him.

Now we need you to step up your efforts for the difficult months ahead. We need your financial support (any amount is appreciated) and activism. We count on you to make mass phone calls, sign petitions, and demonstrate in the streets.

We need each other now more than ever. Please assist!

Lately, so much of history is being re-written in the name of political correctness.  The civil rights movement has been scrubbed for the sake of making some notables ‘more notable’, the founding of our great nation has had some cosmetic changes to be more palatable to certain groups and even the New International version of the Holy Bible is being tinkered with just to make some of its readers feel ‘more at home’.  Well, I happen to be a fan of our former president, George W. Bush.  As I remember, 911 actually defined his presidency.  He became a leader in chief, a comforter in chief and I want to make sure that I give him the credit and respect that he has earned over the last 8 years of our lives.  Here’s the time line of September 11, 2001:

Complete Timeline of President George W. Bush on September 11, 2001

(provided by White House Press Secretary, Ari Fleischer – all times are EDT)

9 a.m. – Bush arrives at Sarasota, Fla., school for speech. White House chief of staff Andrew Card tells him a
plane has crashed into the World Trade Center.

9:05 a.m. – Bush is visiting a second-grade class when Card whispers to him that a second plane has struck the
towers. President delays plans to address the tragedy, deciding to get more information first.

9:30 a.m. – Bush meets privately with National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, who briefs him. He delivers
first remarks on the tragedy.

10 a.m. – Aboard Air Force One en route to Louisiana, Bush calls Vice President Dick Cheney and puts America’s
military on a high alert status. Sifts through reports from staff, including erroneous report that a car bomb had
struck the State Department. Gets news that plane has crashed near Pittsburgh.

11:40 a.m. – Bush arrives at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., where he makes series of telephone calls from a
general’s conference room. Tells Cheney in telephone call, “It’s the faceless coward that attacks.” He also talks
to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and New York Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y.

1:15 p.m. – Bush departs conference room for Air Force One in a camouflaged Humvee. Talks to Cheney again
en route to Nebraska air force base and schedules a 4 p.m. meeting of his national security staff. Also talks to
New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Gov. George Pataki. “I know your heart is broken and your city is strained
and anything we can do, let me know,” Bush says.

3:07 p.m. – Bush arrives at U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.

4:36 p.m. – Bush departs for Washington. En route, he calls first lady Laura Bush and says, “I’m coming home,
see you at the White House.” Works with aides on his prime-time speech.

7 p.m. – Bush arrives at White House to prepare for address.

8:30 p.m. – Bush speaks to nation (text below).

8:35 p.m. – Bush attends national security meeting.

10:21 p.m. – Meeting has ended. Secret Service radio squawks with news that Bush has gone home to bed:
“Trailblazer. Second floor of the residence.”
