The Hatred is Trying To Peak Through the Slime Again
I write this post with apologies to Nobel Prize Peace winner and Former President of the United States, James Earl Carter, who once told Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin “I’m sick and tired of hearing about the Holocaust” Well Jimmy-Tough
Sixty-Five years ago today (January 27 1945) the 322nd Rifle Division of the Red Army Liberated The Auschwitz Death Camp.
65 years after Auschwitz was liberated, the world is still a dangerous place for the Jews. Just last week Malaysia’s former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad at a pro-Palestinian conference, told a pro Palestinian conference, that Jews need to be massacred every once in a while;
The former premier also blamed Jews for hindering progress in US foreign policy. Voicing his disappointment that Barack Obama had not yet ended the war in Afghanistan or closed the US terror detention center at Guantanamo, he explained that “there are forces in the United States which prevent the president from doing some things. One of the forces is the Jewish lobby.”
Jews “had always been a problem in European countries. They had to be confined to ghettoes and periodically massacred. But still they remained, they thrived and they held whole governments to ransom,” Mahathir said.
“Even after their massacre by the Nazis of Germany, they survived to continue to be a source of even greater problems for the world.”
Anti-Semitic Hate spews out of the UN with the Goldstone Report being only the latest example of how the world body uses Israel as its way to attack the Jews in a “politically correct manner.
Even in the United States, it continues to grow, in places like the White House where Presidential Advisers use stereotypes such as “Pro-Israel Lobby” to disparage the Jews. Or the FBI where some of its leaders believe any Jewish FBI Agent has a duel loyalty. In the Media, Anti-Semites like Al Sharpton are allowed to speak about everybody’s bias but are never challenged on their own, Michael Scheuer the former head of the CIA’s Bin Laden Unit is allowed to blame everything on the Jews, and Holocaust deniers like Pat Buchanan appears on programs hosted by people who should know better.
When you look at the world, today, 65 Years after Auschwitz was liberated, the horrible hatred of the Shoah seems to be trying to peek through the slime once again, but no one talks about it.
That was the message that Binyamin Netanyahu gave today at Auschwitz
“From the cursed ground at Auschwitz, Birkenau and other camps rise the voices of our brothers and sisters, our people who choked to death and were burned and murdered,” said the prime minister, in English, wishing “decency, truth and hope … for all mankind” before switching to Hebrew, “the language the Nazis sought to exterminate.”
“Remember what Amalek did to you,” cautioned Netanyahu, quoting a particularly ominous passage from Deuteronomy. “I have come here today from Jerusalem to tell you: We will never forget. We will not allow the Holocaust deniers or those who desecrate [Jewish] graves and signs to erase or distort [our] memory.”
The prime minister also warned that though the “Nazi Amalek” was almost entirely a ghost of the past, “a new Amalek is appearing and once again threatening to annihilate the Jews. We will not allow it …We will never forget and always stand guard,” he said.
“Murderous hatred must be stopped in its tracks, stopped right from the beginning. All countries in the world must learn this lesson, just as we did after losing a third of our people in blood-soaked Europe. We learned that the only guarantee for the protection of our people is the State of Israel and its army, the IDF,” Netanyahu declared, warning that never again would the existence of Israel andthe Jewish people be threatened.
Israel, he said, must stand at the forefront of all civilized nations and warn them about impending danger – while also preparing to defend itself against all threats. “I promise, as head ofthe Jewish state, that never again will we allow the hand of evil to sever the life of our people and our state,” he solemnly added. Netanyahu chose not to specifically refer to the Iranian regime and its nuclear drive, but has drawn a link between the Nazis and the Iranian threat to the Jews in many recent speeches.
“Am Yisrael Chai, we have returned to our homeland, to the land of our forefathers, to Jerusalem, our capital. We have converged from all corners of the world, Holocaust survivors, Arab Jews, Jews from former Soviet Union states, Ethiopian Jews,” Netanyahu said, choosing frosty Poland as the location for his rebuke to those who claim the Jewish population of Israel is comprised mostly of emigrants from Europe.
“We bow our heads in memory [of Holocaust victims] and raise our heads as our flag waves with its two blue stripes and the Star of David at its center. We still haven’t lost our hope.”
NEVER LOSE HOPE – OUR HOPE IS IN THE LORD
Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Ps.27:14)

Nancy Kerrigan’s Brother Arrested in Probe of Father’s Death
Monday, January 25, 2010
Former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan’s brother was arrested and charged with assault in connection with the death of their father, who was found unresponsive inside the family’s home on Sunday.
Emergency crews were sent to Kerrigan’s childhood home in Stoneham, Mass., at approximately 1:45 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports of an unresponsive man at the scene.
Police later identified the man as Kerrigan’s 70-year-old father, Daniel, and labeled the death suspicious.
Kerrigan’s 45-year-old brother, Mark, was arrested and charged with “assault and battery on an elder person resulting in serious bodily injury,” according to press release from the Stoneham police department.
A 5-page police report, obtained by Fox News, asserts that the two men were arguing over use of the telephone when the younger Kerrigan allegedly put his “hands around his father’s neck.”
Kerrigan’s son told police that he thought his father was “faking it” when he fell to the floor, according to the report.
The report says that Mark Kerrigan appeared intoxicated when police arrived on the scene and that he had to be subdued with pepper spray. Police also said they saw blood on the floor near where Daniel Kerrigan had been treated by emergency workers, as well as signs of a struggle, including three pictures that had apparently been knocked off the wall and a broken piece of the telephone.
“(Mark) Kerrigan appeared intoxicated but appeared coherent in understanding questions and answering them,” the report stated.
“He stated that he wanted to use the phone and his father would not let him. He said he struggled with his father and put his hands around his father’s neck and his father fell to the floor,” the arresting officer wrote.
Kerrigan pleaded not guilty to all charges at the Woburn District Court on Monday. His next court date is Feb. 24. (more)
These were happier days for Nancy with her mother and father at the 1994 Olympics – Nancy won the Silver Medal.
Love and Prayers to you and your family, Nancy

J.D. Hayworth Quits Radio Gig to Run Against John McCain
No shocker here, Hayworth has been hinting at a coup attempt for months.
Hayworth confirmed the move on Friday but did not officially announce his candidacy.
“We will formally announce at a later time, but we’re moving forward to challenge John McCain,” he tells the Associated Press. “I think we all respect John. I think his place in history is secure. But after close to a quarter-century in Washington, it’s time for him to come home.”
McCain was probably expecting a challenge from the ultra-conservative Hayworth and has already called in his former running mate and newfound conservative darling, Sarah Palin, to drum up some right-wing support.
McCain is also taking some heat from within his own party.
Last week, Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman Rob Haney accused McCain of trying to “take the true conservatives out” after another county chairman called for an independent audit of the state GOP’s books.
Whether McCain is holding the strings above that situation is unknown, but the race to see which conservative is the most conservative is definitely on.
My Comments – I think we all love and appreciate John McCain as a national hero. God knows he has given his all for this country when it counted most. But, as JD stated, it’s time for a change. We need true conservatives in this current atmosphere – and John McCain while calling himself a ‘Maverick’, has really become a little too ‘progressive’ for my taste.
I’m just sorry that McCain has pulled Sarah Palin into this battle and battle it will be.

Pro-God ads will hit some 1,000 subway cars throughout New York City beginning Friday, announced the New York church sponsoring the campaign.
Times Square Church, located in the heart of Times Square in New York City, will launch its ad campaign in hundreds of subway cars and on 50 platform posters in Manhattan stations at the end of this week.
Bringing God into the public square is nothing new to Times Square Church. In September, the church hosted “Prayer in the Square” that attracted as many as 60,000 people representing over 300 churches and 65 youth organizations for an hour of prayer in Times Square.
In its latest attempt to get people talking about God and religion, the church hopes to not just draw unbelievers, but also former believers.
Ads will boldly feature the words “God is” in the center,surrounded by words describing God’s qualities in colorful fonts. Among the “God is” attributes are: with you, willing to help, able to protect, a father, a husband to the widow, your friend, aware of your struggle, a good listener, the one who loves you, power to change, incredible, ready to forgive, there when no one else is, looking at you, Jesus.
“We want to encourage people to seek God and prove that indeed He is,” explains Carter Conlon, senior pastor of Times Square Church. “The ads describe God in just a few of the infinite ways He proves His presence to us every day.”(more)
