Our Republican legislators are having a little trouble in keeping their game straight. It appears that some of them are saying REPEAL and START OVER
and others are saying REPEAL and REPLACE. What! Don’t dare start this. This is a battle that we can win because Obamacare is illegal and unconstitutional and against the will of the American people. You know what the problem is? Obama is a propagandist and the most valuable tool in his skill set is his ability to articulate or as some of us call it, ‘shoot the breeze’. Fellow Republicans – do not be intimidated by this. You have the American people on your side. You have the authentic message and Obama has the counterfeit. He will now tour the country with his slimy snake oil and try to re-capture the many good and noble citizens who voted for him but have now lost faith in his ability to bring legitimate change to our country. Stand up to him and don’t back down. WE WANT REPEAL AND START OVER >>> NOT REPEAL AND REPLACE. If you start talking about replacing any part of Obama’s bill – then we will lose. Obama is betting that you will cave in to his rhetoric and become subservient to his monstrous bill and then when it fails – you (the Republicans) will be the fall guy. Don’t worry about what he is saying – just continue to state the case of the American people over and over again. You must wear Obama down. WE WILL PREVAIL – BUT WE MUST PERSEVERE!
American Minute with Bill Federer
After the Continental Army was driven out of New Jersey, an article titled “The American Crisis” was published in the Pennsylvania Journal, DECEMBER 23, 1776.
Written by an aide-de-camp to General Nathanael Greene named Thomas Paine, General Washington ordered it read to the troops:
These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country … Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.
Thomas Paine continued:
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly. … Heaven knows how to put a price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated … God Almighty will not give up a people to military destruction … who have so earnestly … sought to avoid the calamities of war.
The whole English army, after ravaging the kingdom of France, was driven back … by a few broken forces headed by a woman, Joan of Arc. Would that heaven might inspire some Jersey maid to spirit up her countrymen … ‘Show your faith by your works,’ that God may bless you … I thank God, that I fear not.
