June 25th marks four years since Hamas kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. Let’s show the world that Gilad will not be forgotten and that we will continue to fight for his safe return home!

On June 25, 2006, Hamas terrorists tunneled into Israeli territory, kidnapping 19-year-old Gilad Shalit and killing two Israeli soldiers. Since that day, Gilad has been held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip and has not been allowed visits by any humanitarian organizations.

For more information on the event, please see the Facebook event page at http://www.facebook.com. For more information and for ways to help Gilad, please visit the Jewish United Fund website.

For more information on Gilad Shalit, his captivity, and efforts for his release, please visit the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs page and The Israel Project’s press release.
