Here’s a video of former President George W. and First Lady Laura Bush welcoming our victorious troops home from Iraq.

Wouldn’t you know George and Laura Bush would be right there welcoming our troops home from Iraq?  This is the most appropriate thing to happen.  They have shown their true love and respect for our brave men and women in the military over and over again.

And make no mistake, this military loves them right back.

This has brought tears to my eyes.  Imagine the feeling of returning home from the battle field with victory and receiving a hero’s welcome from the Commander-in-Chief who sent you out.  AWESOME!

Actions speak louder than TELEPROMPTED  words any day.  Just take a look!

Thank you, George and Laura Bush.

Former President George W. and First Lady Laura Bush surprise troops at the USO in Dallas/Fort Worth TX airport.

The recovering soldier pictured above is Alabama Army Guard Maj. Randy Royer, who was wounded iin the shooting at Fort Hood on 5 November 2009. The following evening, Maj. Royer and his wife, Trish received a visit from the former First Couple, George and Laura Bush, who paid an unannounced and unpublicized visit to Fort Hood and spent a few hours meeting those injured in the shooting that had left thirteen dead the previous day. Mrs. Royer took this photo on her cell phone and said the visit from the former President and the First Lady was awesome.
